Over the past decade, H2 development in California has been bottlenecked at the mid-stream and downstream part of the business. Yosemite Fuels has explored global solutions for reducing the midstream and downstream H2 for mobility markets, and we are confident we will provide the lower-cost H2 supplies that our customers want to make H2 a viable alternative carbon negative fuel for the mobility market.
Who We Are
Yosemite Fuels LLC, a subsidiary of Yosemite Clean Energy LLC, shares Yosemite Clean Energy’s "stump-to-pump" vision, which involves utilizing biomass wood waste to produce renewable biofuels and support midstream and downstream operations. Teaming up with global off-take partners, we facilitate back-to-back transactions of H2 fuels in the marketplace, which will include our own supply of carbon-negative H2, and also other carbon-negative H2 producers. Yosemite Fuels spearheads market development, nurtures relationships with end-users, and offers turnkey H2 fueling solutions through our logistics and hydrogen development partner, Celly H2 LLC, specializing in H2 fueling logistics and offering turnkey development of hydrogen refueling systems.
What We Do
Yosemite Fuels offers comprehensive market development services, including logistics, distribution, and dispensing of carbon-negative H2 from various sources. In 2024, we played a pivotal role in the market debut of the first carbon-negative H2 sales in California. Over the past years, we've facilitated market offtake for H2 production in the region. Concurrently, Yosemite Fuels has been actively presenting our fueling logistics and downstream hydrogen refueling station (HRS) options to numerous potential partners in the H2 demand landscape, spanning municipalities, trucking firms, and fuel providers. Our aim is to offer holistic support to H2 end-users through Yosemite Fuels while bolstering sales for our parent company, Yosemite Clean Energy. We are committed to managing the stump-to-pump H2 supply chain ecosystem efficiently.
Point-of-Sale
Through our point-of-sale system, Yosemite can track and manage H2 molecules from production to distribution, providing comprehensive reporting on fuel supplies within the supply chain and at various fuel stations and transport hubs. This system optimizes fuel delivery and cost management. Additionally, Yosemite Fuels facilitates the generation of environmental attributes for H2, including LCFS, 45V and RIN credits.
Our Mission
Yosemite Fuels seeks to partner with other H2 producers to fulfill their offtake needs and complete midstream and downstream operations. We also plan to construct hydrogen refueling systems throughout California, catering to both private and public needs, with the goal of offering the most efficient and cost-effective solutions to our customers. Our first H2 fueling stations will be part of Yosemite Clean Energy's inaugural H2 plants in California.
